General Questions

It varies depending on the complexity of the recovery. We price in three different levels that range from $200 to +$1,000. Most recoveries fall into our lowest level of service which is between $200 – $400. To find out more information, please see our Prices page of this website. 

We partner with a variety of local business to create convenient drop off locations for our customers. A full list of drop off locations and times can be found on the Process page of this website.

No, we partner with local businesses to create convenient drop off locations for our customers. Our lab is a closed facility to protect the sensitive information we recover from our customers. We take your privacy seriously. 

No, our policy is to provide the initial evaluation at no-charge, unless the drive was shipped to one of our drop off locations.  In that case there would be a return shipping charge.

This varies depending on the complexity of the  recovery. If it is a simple recovery then it can be as short as a couple days. However, if it is an advanced recovery it may take several weeks, due to ordering parts and shipping time.

Yes, unless you tell us otherwise, we will return all customer provided drives/media. 

Absolutely!  We are very concerned about maintaining the confidentiality of our clients data.  Our lab has video surveillance and is alarmed.  Access is only allowed to the primary technicians.

Data recovery can be a very slow process at times.  It all depends on the severity of the damage to the drive.  We issue a recovery ticket via email and try to keep our customers updated with the progress.

No, we only recover data, we do not fix your media. The reason for this policy is because we can’t guarantee your media will work or for how long after we recover your data. 

Yes, you have two options:

  1. You supply your own drive/media.
  2. You purchase the new drive/media from us, at cost. Meaning there is no mark up, what we pay is what you pay.

Yes, please note there are additional fees associated with an expedited recovery. Please let us know if you are interested in an expedited recovery and we can give you a fee and time estimate for this service.

Depending on the circumstances we are prepared to respond to a customer’s location.  There are additional costs associated with this service.
